Del Delamont has had a successful dual-career in both music and business. 

As a businessman, he is credentialed and experienced in both corporate and entrepreneurial Business Development, Market Development, Business Management, and Community Leadership. 

In the field of the Performing Arts, he is an internationally-known composer and song-writer.  Over the span of his career, he has written #1 songs for the multiple award-winning Oak Ridge Boys, as well as chart-topping songs for numerous other Country Music, Gospel Music and Christian Music artists.   Additionally, he also has many other credits for creative projects as a highly-respected script-writer, audio & video producer, and comprehensive media productions director.

"Mr.Del" (as he is affectionately known to his students and proteges), holds a BMus in Music Composition (with an adjunct Major in English), and an MA in Business Management. 

He is a highly-esteemed instrumentalist, vocal soloist, and ensemble vocalist.  He is a life-member of the American Society of Composers Authors and Publishers, and a life-long participant in both the Gospel Music and Country Music fields. 

During a significant part of his career, he served as Music Director to the late-great Country Music Star, Marty Robbins, traveling internationally, and participating in hundreds of major concerts, scores of recording sessions, and several years of syndicated television programming. 

Further to those credits, "Mr. Del" has also had over 45 years combined experience as a band and orchestra director, choral director, vocal coach, piano instructor, and individual brass-instrument teacher. 

He is also a regionally-recognized Early Childhood Music Educator, with credits in both the "Little Music Makers" program and the "Music Lane" pre-school and kindergarten learning programs.

In addition to continuing his writing and personal-performance activities, he currently teaches selected piano, voice, and voice brass-instrument students privately. 

He is a member of the patriotic volunteer organization "Bugles Across America," and has also been honored to have become the Resident Music Therapy Specialist for Paulding Enterprises, a community learning center for developmentally-disabled adults.
